The 2018 Met Gala’s celebrity attendees danced, posed, and played among the art in the most iconic rooms of the Met museum, bringing the night’s theme of “Heavenly Bodies” to life. The Met Gala is all anyone can talk about right now. There are many reasons, but one major theme is relationships. Whether it’s new relationships or old flames, this year’s met Gala had it all.
First, let’s talk about new couples. Over the years, many stars have used the gala to debut their relationship. Remember Gigi Hadid with Zayn Malik in 2016? Or Selena Gomez with The Weekend in 2017? Well. this year was no different. Let’s kick things off with Elon Musk and Grimes. Until now there were many rumors that the pair were dating, but they finally made things public. And what better time to make their red carpet debut. Only awkward thing was that Amber Heard was also there. It’s been just three months since her and Elon broke up, but luckily she shrugged the situation off.

While many celebs stole the show with their outfits on Monday night, 2 Chainz stole the show in a completely different way. No, he didn’t debut a new relationship, but he did ask his girlfriend, Kesha Ward to marry him. What do you think of that for a proposal? 2 Chainz and Ward already have three children together, and rumors say they have been married since 2013, while others believe they never formally tied the knot after he first proposed five years ago. When asked why he wanted to propose again on that particular night, 2 Chainz said it was a spur of the moment decision.

Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart. Their rumored romance was finally confirmed last Monday when they walked the red carpet together. Whether you’re Team Bughead or Team Varchie, I think all Riverdale fans can agree this couple slayed their debut. I have to say, they make a stunning couple.

This year, Kylie Jenner has made it onto our list for a very surprising reason. Despite having a baby with her boyfriend, Travis Scott, during this year’s Met Gala, they made their first ever red carpet appearance together. A big shock considering just how much Kylie’s in the spotlight. Kylie and Travis stepped out wearing matching all-black outfits.

Another couple making their debut was Shawn Mendes and Haley Baldwin. They definitely did it style. Both wearing Tommy Hilfiger and lots of smiles.
