Today, I want to talk about presents partly because of Christmas, but also next week is my niece’s 6th birthday. A few days ago, I asked on Facebook and Twitter, What is the present you most remember from your childhood? and then I collected together all the answers and put them on my notepad. I am going to tell you my absolute favorites from that list.
Star Wars The Last Jedi already hit our theaters last week and that means a ton of Star Wars toys. I found these amazing Sphero app enabled droids. It’s about as close as you can get to being R2D2. Simply connect your iOS or Android device to the rebellions most famous droid to zoom the little guy around the house. Complete with R2’s signature bleeps and bloops. With the feature-rich app, connect and control multiple droids like BB-8 and the first order’s newest dark and devious droid, BB-9E. The controls are simple and responsive allowing you to draw the path you want the droid to take. You can also tap simple preset commands.
I reckon every kid needs a ukulele. It’s what I got for my niece last Christmas and she loves it. She would twiddle the little handles and she enjoys playing with the sounds. Who knows? It might wake up the music talent within them.
Put a personal touch on your kid’s My Little Pony characters by giving them colorful manes and molding them sweet cutie marks.
They’re just nice and bright and I think that’s one of the reasons why my niece is so drawn to them. The story lines are simple and funny.
If you have a little one that loves the tub and tub time, i recommend picking up the YooKiddo Spin ‘n’ Sort Spout Pro . It’s for toddlers aging 9 to 36 months and it is a flow and fill spout. It’s a battery operated spout, which my niece loves because she loves taking baths, but hates it if I turn off the faucet. It has little cups to play with as well. This is a gift that they’re definitely going to use.
