Support your mom’s healthy lifestyle by making her a special banana smoothie on Mother’s Day!

What you need:

1 banana

2 teaspoons of honey

1/2 pint of milk

1 cup of rice

1 blender

What to do:

1.Peel and slice the banana. (If your mom isn’t fond of bananas, you can use her favorite fruit instead!)

2. Put the honey, milk and ice in the blender.

3. Blend the ingredients on high until the mixture thickens.

4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and present to Mom!

5. Tie a colorful ribbon around the glass to make it extra special.

Foodie Mom

For the foodie mom, you can make this day more heart warming by surprising her with her favorite breakfast! Plan the next meal with Dad ahead, so you two can buy the ingredients at the grocery. Wake up extra early, so that you’ll have enough time to make a second batch (just in case you make a boo-boo on the first try!). As a final touch, set the table with festive napkins and hang a handmade or printed “Happy Mother’s Day” banner in the dining room.
